That is crucial to help you manage your symptoms of ADD... exercise, diet or sleep?
Ideally we're fueling the bodies of ours with nutritious food, moving people with regular exercise and getting the consistent sleep we need to feel focused, alert, and rested to decrease the symptoms of ours of ADD.
But reality is... we're missing a minimum of one, if not all of these important management strategies.
If you could focus on one strategy that is important to make the greatest difference in experiencing relief of your symptoms of ADD, which could it be?
Attempting to deal with or even change all 3 of such at the same time is a strategy fraught with more capability for failure than achievement. So the places where to start? Up until recently, when endeavoring to place one to be a priority with the others, I'm not sure I may choose. Each has its benefits and role that is important to manage the symptoms of yours of ADD, but there's one that seems to be coming out a definite winner.
And alpilean video so , in case you are wondering "Where to start?" to minimize the symptoms of yours of ADD and get the foremost bang for your hard work, I'm gon na officially go on the record (and possibly out there on a limb) and declare that getting enough, consistent rest is the priority. Here is why:
Sleep is more critical than food. That is if the science I read is precise. It's accurate that a well-balanced diet full of protein will benefit the overall energy of ours and offer the longest lasting fuel source for our busy brains and bodies with ADHD. However, a person can go without food for many days and survive. Within one day having to deal with a bad night's sleep, we begin to go through drowsiness, difficulty concentrating, less patience, decreased accuracy on tests, impaired judgment, memory difficulties along with a lessening in the performance of our body's immune system to name just a number. Go with no sleep for ten days, and you're more likely to die. I am convinced that if rest weren't essential to our general well-being we would have developed out of it ages ago.
It is hard to eat healthy when we're sleep deprived. When we're tired, our intention or dedication to try to eat healthy is shaky at best. Basically we do not have the power to shop, plan and prepare foods which are healthy. Contribute to this the impulsive symptoms of ADD about food options as well as our best intentions for eating that is nutritious never survive through the kitchen door. In fact we might even gain weight as well as feel hungrier as our tired mind seeks out easy to be sugary and carb-filled food since they are metabolized the fastest and can satisfy our exhausted brain.
